Project : Infograph for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (A.M.P.A.S)

July was a month filled with great opportunities! One of them being a project I was fortunate enough to do with A.M.P.A.S! For those who are not familiar, they are the organization that does The Oscars every Winter. And what you really may not know is that they are responsible for a lot of programs that I didn't even know existed. You should check it out here:  They contacted me to design an infograph that would go into their quarterly Academy Report magazine exclusive to Academy Members. The infograph illustrates two different programs they run during the off season. The Student Academy Award & The Nicholl Fellowship. When I got the phone call I was nearly speechless. At first I didn't really know who or what "A.M.P.A.S" was. So I took it with a grain of salt until I found out who they really were and then I was truly speechless, haha! The project duration lasted for about a month. Working time was about 2 weeks. Actually, most of it was done on the first week (there were definitely long coffee nights jamming out to good tunes - good times!) The week that followed circled more around revisions and going back and forth to get it perfect for print. Soon after the closing weeks it was production time! And alas - the infograph is born and published in the middle of the Summer 2013 edition.

This is without a doubt one of the best feelings of my life. I know there are far more accomplishments out there that make this one completely moot, but this is MY accomplishment and I am still smiling like a child with a huge cake in front of them. I never would of thought any of my work would be lucky enough to be in a magazine let alone something so special like The Academy!

Hard work definitely pays off! I feel truly blessed and thankful for this opportunity! I am still fortunate enough to be working with my client, who by the way is amazing and was gracious enough to give me two copies! So stay tuned in for more projects!

Special thank you to everyone that supported me during this project!

Woo, cheers! Congrats present me haha!

Thank you TCG for patching us up!
