JF Holiday Party!

Last night I attended our holiday party at The Roosevelt in Hollywood. It was awesome to say the least!

In the first time in my life, I had an up-do hairstyle. Beautifully crafted by none other than my stylist Tammy Nguyen. She was also responsible for my makeup! :) And of course, I am wearing another Michelle Hebert! She did a wonderful job at keeping incredibly true to the sketches/ideas we talked about. (Scroll down to see the rest of the dress.) I was basically a walking canvas for my talented friends and I couldn't be luckier.

Jay was my date! He looked incredibly dapper in his all black suit! Hashtag black on black on black!

Photobooth! We so fancy!

My desk buddy, Lisette! Love her to pieces!

And of course, Mr. Fab himself!

Had an amazing night and I was so glad to be representing the creative department. JF creative team FTW!! Blessed to be a part of such a wonderful company ♥

December? Where did you come from!?

Cool crisp mornings and fake snowflakes that hang throughout the window seal of apartments nearby - It's December!

I know I say this a lot when a new month rolls around, but uh, how is it already December? How is it in less than 30 days 2013 is going to be over? I say that but at the same time I also want to say that 2013 needs to be over with, it's been one hell of a year. I'm looking forward to writing my 2013 reflection post - it's gonna be (as Johnny would say) ca-ra-zy.

Anyways, November was a pretty awesome month. I accomplished many goals such as illustrating and freelance projects which was pretty much my priority. However my gym time suffered a little bit :/ but that's okay. I got a lot of illustrating in and I learned so many things by just teaching myself through books and practice - so I'm hopeful :)

Currently at Brew Well with Jay, just another Saturday coffee adventure ! I'm not going to get into us, but we've been spending a lot of time together, but you already know that... You as in my audience, which is probably one person. But hey, the more you know!

December is probably going to go by fast... but we shall see.

Hello December, be nice to me. Kbye :)

Salmon Panini - NOM!

Alright, so I might be over exaggerating when I say this, but this may be the best Salmon Panini, ever!
Took a walk around downtown because it was a bit nippy outside with the sun peaking out enough to give you the right amount of warmth perfect for a big sweater attire - but that’s besides the point.
I made a trip to Starbucks to get my usual, Peppermint Mocha (sans chips, cause those start to feel all sorts of weird in my mouth when it gets cold.) As I was walking back to my place I realized that I didn’t have anything to eat. I remember Jordan telling me about a cute little French place near our place so I made my way over there and oh my gooodness!! It is the cutest little store staffed with beautiful women who actually care about the food and its craft! (And, they also speak French and I am a sucker for the language). I bought a Salmon Panini cause I’ve had a craving for salmon for about some time now and Z O M G … so good :) At some point in your life, if you ever find yourself in LA, you should pay them a visit and put this in your mouth.
